Sightholders are trading partners of the Diamond Trading Company. The sightholders are exclusively invited by the DTC on a regular basis to London. In an event called the "sight", DTC distributes the boxes containing to its sightholders. De Beers sets the price of its boxes in advance and determines the quality and quantity each sightholder receives. Price and quantity are nonnegotiable.
